A free, remote workshop dedicated to "Techniques and notions for the preparation of PDO Tuscan Bread". It is promoted by the CEDIT training agency as part of the project funded on the PS-GO call for "Pane Plus Days - Agronomic and technological methodologies designed to increase the" shelf life of Pane Toscano DOP ".

It is a five-hour training project, from 2 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday 1st March 2022, to provide theoretical and practical notions relating to the preparation of Tuscan PDO bread. Specifically, topics such as the first refreshment of the sourdough, the second refreshment and the first dough, autolysis, the ingredients of the bread, dough preparation, sour mother and dough, dividing and forming, cooking and preservation of bread, Tuscan PDO bread will be addressed. , the overturning of the vein and the application of the “dop sticker”, the lighting and management of the real wood-fired oven fed with bundles, and finally the Pane + Days project will be presented.

The lesson will be held on Google Meet and is free as it is an Intervention realized with EAFRD co-financing - sub-measure 1.1 “Support for professional training and acquisition of skills”. The teachers are Isabella Taglieri, a researcher at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Agro-Environmental Sciences of the University of Pisa, together with the expert baker Piero Capecchi.

In relation to the issues dealt with by the PS-GO, the final recipients of the initiatives are the employees of the agricultural, agri-food and forestry sectors, land managers. These subjects must have their registered office and/or at least one operational headquarters / local unit in Tuscany, as resulting from the company file or from the Chamber of Commerce registration. In
particular:
1. agricultural entrepreneurs, individuals and associates, registered in the business register, with a VAT number;
2. owners of forestry companies, individuals and associates, registered in the business register and who have a main or secondary activity with the ATECO code starting with A 02;
3. administrators and employees, also with managerial functions, of land managers, represented by municipalities, park bodies and public bodies managing the sites of the Natura 2000 network.

For the subjects referred to in points 1 and 2, employees and family assistants can also participate
registered with INPS, even on a fixed-term basis.

A new path dedicated to "New strategies for managing wheat weeds for a low environmental impact: new molecules and techniques". It is proposed by Cedit, the training agency of Confartigianato Toscana, starting on Wednesday 25 January 2022. This is the second training course within the "Pane Plus Days" project financed on the PS-GO Call by the Tuscany Region, with EAFRD co-financing - sub-measure 1.1 "Support for professional training and acquisition of skills".

The deadline for registrations, to be completed by filling in the appropriate form to be sent to cedit@cedit.org, is set for January 17, 2022. The training course has a total duration of 16 hours, divided into four meetings of as many hours each. , with remote training methods through the Google Meet platform.

The following types of recipients are eligible: agricultural entrepreneurs, individuals and associates, registered in the business register, with a VAT number; owners of forestry companies, individuals and associates, registered in the business register and who have a main or secondary activity with the ATECO code starting with A 02, with registered office in the Tuscany Region; administrators and employees, also with managerial functions, of land managers, represented by Municipalities, Park Authorities and managing bodies of the Natura 2000 sites.

Until 1 December 2021 it is possible to enroll in the third training course, lasting 16 hours, provided for in sub-measure 1.1 of the Project funded on the PS-GO "Pane Plus Days" call.

The theme of the course is “New strategies for managing organic matter as an element of soil fertility and contrasting climate change”.

Participation in the training course is free, as it is an Intervention carried out with EAFRD co-financing - sub-measure 1.1 “Support for vocational training and acquisition of skills”.

Four meetings of as many hours each are scheduled, with distance learning methods through the Google Meet platform.

The first lesson is scheduled for Wednesday 15 December 2021. The lecturers of the course are Marco Mancini (Director of the Climate and Sustainability Foundation) and Marco Napoli (Researcher at the University of Florence).

Al via il prossimo novembre il corso di formazione online Nuove strategie di gestione delle infestanti del frumento per un basso impatto ambientale: nuove molecole e tecniche.

Il corso è promosso nell’ambito del all’interno del Progetto finanziato sul Bando PS-GO “Pane Plus Days – Le metodologie agronomiche e tecnologiche atte ad incrementare la “shelf life del Pane Toscano DOP” . Sedici ore di lezione divise su quattro incontri, guidati dal professor Marco Mearini, docente di materie agronomiche ed enologia presso l’Istituto Superiore Angelo Vegni di Cortona.

La partecipazione al corso di formazione è GRATUITA, in quanto si tratto di un Intervento realizzato con il cofinanziamento FEASR -  sottomisura 1.1 “Sostegno alla formazione professionale e acquisizione di competenze”.

Sono ammissibili le seguenti tipologie di destinatari:

  1. imprenditori agricoli, singoli e associati, iscritti al registro delle imprese, dotati di partita IVA,
  2. titolari di imprese forestali, singoli e associati, iscritti al registro delle imprese e che abbiano una attività principale o secondaria con codice ATECO che inizi con A 02, con sede legale in Regione Toscana.
  3. amministratori e dipendenti, anche con funzioni dirigenziali, di gestori del territorio, rappresentati da Comuni, Enti Parco ed enti gestori dei siti della Rete Natura 2000.

The first webinar of the course "The cultivation of wheat with precision farming techniques" took place on Friday 22 January 2021. The lesson was held by professors Marco Napoli (University of Florence) and Marco Mancini (Foundation for Climate and Sustainability). The participation was numerous and there was a strong interest in the topics dealt with relating to precision fertilization techniques.

Next appointment is on Friday 29 January with the second webinar which will focus on the local cereal companies that employ precision agriculture (case studies).
